I am wanting to use a lot of POV shots within my short film which will allow the audience to experience what the character is feeling. This will also link to the idea of including breathing sounds that will increase the tempo of the short film. Also with POV shots the ai audience only sees what the character is see which highlights the restrictions that they experience.

For my rough idea I decided to draw it out so I had a template to follow. I had many different ideas but I picked the most effective ones from different magazine reviews I looked at. Due to the fact that I wanted to introduce the same element of drawing into this one as I have in my film poster I decided I wanted the same lined background so the idea of lined paper would be created. Overall the magazine review will be A3 size because it would have to be slip into two where it will be stapled. I am going to include a range of photographs some which show behind the scenes and some shots from the film. These photos will tell the audience something about the film. I am also going to include the title of the film because that is a important part of review. The film info I'm going to include is the title, the directors name, the duration and the actors. One aspect which I thought would be really effective for me to include is a quotation either from the director or from the film.

My overall ideas for my magazine review are to incorporate the same style which I am planning to use for my film poster. I am wanting to use my own drawings/doodles to create a background for the review. When researching some magazine reviews I found that they commonly featured photos of behind the scenes and shots from the film itself. There was also quotes from the film and text which relates to the film some how and possibly its production. The smaller details that can be seen are aspects like the page numbers and the magazines name at the bottom of the page. As I said I am going to be using the same style that will be found in my film poster to create similarities between the two which I think would look really effective. By having the two look the same it is going to allow the audience to recognise the similarities and notice that they are the same film.
