Filming day- location 2

When filming in my second location I had to move the lighting down stairs so I would be able to capture Charlie coming down the stairs. The cables from the lights became a major tripping hazard here because I had to use several extension leads and the hall was narrow so there wasn't a lot of room for me to make adjustments. I warned the actors about this hazard, even though the hazard would have effected me more because it was behind the camera. I had the light facing up to the ceiling so it would be able to bounce off of it creating a soft lighting effect, I also decided to turn the ceiling light to add typical light that would be found in the house. For all of the shots that were filmed in this location I kept the light in this position because the shots ran one after another and didn't involve me moving the camera too much therefore the lights wouldn't need to be moved. Because less time was spent in this area the heat from the lights didn't effect the camera which made the shots easier to film.
