When filming I had to add lighting to the location because I decided to close the blind therefor there was limited natural light in the room. When filming the point of view shots I first tried to film it instead of getting the actor to do it. One thing I found with me filming it was that I wasn't able to follow the actor as well as if he filmed it, so I decided to get him to hold the camera and I then guided him. I had to alter the light so it bounced off of the wall therefor making it less harsh and more subtle. making the light more natural ad realistic.
I had to change the positioning of the light overtime I moved the camera, this was so that there would be the same amount of light in every shot. For the close up shots I had to hold the camera which resulted in slight camera shake but I thought I would be able to edit it in premiere pro. For long shots I used a tripod which enable me to move the camera without causing camera shake. One thing I found when filming was that the lights because they were constantly on got very hot and caused my camera to overheat. This then made me take breaks because the camera needed time to cool down. I also came across a problem with my camera because of the heat my battery ran down faster resulting in my cameras battery dying before I finished filming this therefor meant that I had to travel home in order for e to get my charger, this caused the duration of my filming to be longer. This could have been avoided if I would have planned the day a lot more. For my storyboard I only planned certain shots it would have been better if I would have planned more descriptive shots that then would have reduced my filing time. I found that if I filmed more then I needed then when it came to editing it all together then I would have a wider range of footage.
What I found when filming in Charlie's room is that I had to take photos of where all of his toys were just incase something was moved and I had to put it back to where it was before accurately.
