Overall ideas- Film poster

For my film poster I am wanting to explore the connection between my main character and spiderman, what I mean by this is that I found when filming and planning my short film that the theme of autism can be related to spiderman. I am planning on including a drawing of my main character with half of his face as spiderman. This is going to be the main part of my film poster which is why I am going to position it in the centre of the film poster allowing his face and the idea behind it to be emphasised.

I am going to have the title of the film at the bottom of the poster allowing the audience to know what the film is called. I am also wanting to include the names of the actors and the director which are typical things that you would find on a film poster. For the text I was influenced by the font for the Atypical poster. This font creates the idea of it being hand written which relates to the drawing which is going to be included. Other aspects of a typical film poster which I am going to include are the release date and a star rating.

The colour scheme I am going to be using is black and white which relates to his outfit which he is wearing in the short film. To further emphasise the idea that the film poster is made up of drawings/doodles i am going to have the effect of lined paper in the background.
