Sounds- editing

When editing my sound I wanted to emphasise certain aspects of it to create the idea that people which autism experience things differently. I decided to use Adobe Audition to do this. It was very straightforward to use after researching methods on youtube. Once I had selected the sound that I wanted to edit I then placed it into Audition.
I then placed a filter on it which allowed me to change the levels of the clip which in turn changed how it sounded. I wanted to amplify it and change the pitch. I changed several levels, hearing the difference every time to se whether it was what I wanted.
I then found a section where I could amplify certain pieces of the clip I again altered it slightly then listened for the change, I wanted to also include a slight echo to create the idea that autistic people almost hear sound bouncing off of the walls. I did this with the majority of my sound clips which I then decided to overlay to create intensified sound.
